Terms & Conditions

All sales made by THE COOKWARE COMPANY are made on these Terms and Conditions of sale.

All goods are priced to include both tax and carriage within the Republic of Ireland. Some goods eg. food items and books are VAT exempt and this is reflected in the price quoted. All goods are subject to availability and the design and specification shown. We will not substitute without first contacting the customer. Please note that you are responsible for deciding on the suitability of goods offered for any particular purpose.

There is no minimum order value.

For orders to be delivered outside the Republic of Ireland and for bulky or heavy deliveries, there may be an additional charge but this will be confirmed at the time of order.
Goods will be despatched via Courier or An Post and receipt can be expected within 5 working days, should we believe that this may not be achieved we will contact you before despatch.

Goods needed urgently can be dispatched on 2 working days delivery at an additional charge of €5.00 euro. Please advise us if you need the goods urgently

Every effort is made to ensure that goods are delivered on time, although delivery times are given without obligation because of our reliance on a third party carrier.
Details of any shortages or damage to deliveries must be noted by email within 24 hours of delivery.

All goods are made to a high quality specification. If you are not satisfied with the goods received we offer a "no quibble" returns policy where goods are returned to us unused, in perfect condition and in their original packaging within 14 days of delivery.
Any goods returned which are not in the condition set out above will be rejected and returned to you at your cost.

Goods supplied are guaranteed in accordance with the terms of the manufacturers warranty. The warranty applies to the Irish Republic only and does not apply to wear and tear, or if a product has been damaged or misused. Machines returned for repair in warranty where it is found that the machine has been abused or not used for the purpose that it was designed for, will be subject to a charge for repair and carriage.

Retention of title:- Please note that title for the goods will not pass to the purchaser until the goods are paid for in full.

Samples: Any goods required for samples will be despatched and charged accordingly.

All weights, measurements and specifications quoted are nominal and subject to manufacturing tolerances.

Please note that it is illegal to sell knives to anyone under 16 years of age. You may be asked to confirm your age.
